How do I use the imghero Zapier integration?
The imghero Zapier integration lets you connect imghero to 8,000+ apps without writing any code. Automatically generate images whenever you publish a blog post, add a row to a spreadsheet, or trigger any other event in your workflow.
What the integration does
The integration provides one action: Generate Image.
You give it a URL, and it returns an image URL. imghero reads the page content, generates a relevant image, and gives you a stable URL you can use anywhere.
You can optionally configure the visual style and text treatment, or leave them on their defaults and let imghero decide.
How to set it up
- Go to zapier.com and click Create a Zap
- Choose your trigger app (the app that starts the workflow). For example, WordPress, Ghost, an RSS feed, or Google Sheets.
- Configure your trigger by selecting the specific event (e.g., “New Post” in WordPress, “New Item in Feed” for RSS)
- Add an action step and search for imghero
- Connect your imghero account when prompted. You’ll need your API token from your Account page. API access requires a paid subscription.
- Configure the Generate Image action: map the URL field from your trigger step. Optionally set the style and text treatment.
- Test your Zap to confirm it works, then turn it on
Once active, every new trigger event will automatically generate an image through imghero.
