How does billing work?

Credits

imghero uses a credit system. You get credits with your subscription and spend them to generate images.

How many credits does each image cost?

  • Lightning mode: 1 credit per image — fast results, great for most uses
  • Premium mode: 10 credits per image — higher quality output for when it matters

Do unused credits expire?

No. Your credits roll over month-to-month, so you never lose what you’ve paid for. To keep things fair, your balance is capped at twice your monthly allowance.

What if I run out of credits?

Subscribers can purchase top-up packs anytime. These are one-time purchases that add credits to your balance immediately.

Every subscription includes:

  • Monthly credit allowance
  • Access to all image styles
  • Both Lightning and Premium generation modes
  • Full commercial rights to your images
  • Credits that roll over month-to-month

Can I switch plans?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime through your billing portal. Changes take effect on your next billing date.

How do I cancel?

Click “Manage Subscription” on your billing page. You can cancel anytime — no fees, no questions asked. You’ll keep your remaining credits until they’re used.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as other payment methods depending on your region.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes. You’ll receive an email receipt for every payment. You can also access your full billing history through the subscription management portal.

Refunds

What happens if an image generation fails?

You’re refunded automatically. We only charge credits for successful generations.

Can I get a refund for unused credits?

We don’t offer refunds for unused credits, but since credits roll over and never expire (up to your cap), you won’t lose them.
